Who are we?

Swim Masters was started in 2006 and is a fast growing swim school, based in the West Midlands.

We currently operate from 4 different pools and offer a wide spectrum of classes to suit all ages and abilities from babies through to adults.

What makes our lessons different?

All of our teachers share a common enjoyment of the sport of swimming, and we delight in being able to share our confidence and knowledge of that sport with everybody from the youngest beginners, through to adults who wish to gain training tips or improve their strokes.

Our teachers all hold a current STA (Swimming Teachers’ Association) Level 2 Swimming Teacher’s Certificate or an ASA (Amateur Swimming Association)  equivalent as well as an up-to-date lifesaving qualification.

Our lessons revolves around very small class sizes.  Class maximum sizes are displayed on our Locations page.

While children are non-swimmers or beginners they will always have a teacher in the water with them.

Each lesson is targetted towards specific objectives, making learning more focussed and improving swimmer progress.

Swimmers are assessed continuously (rather than on one specific "badge week"), reducing the pressure to perform on a given day and allowing a fairer assessment of each swimmer's abilities.

Children are able to move up through the levels during a batch of lessons, they are not held back whilst waiting for the term to end.
