Adult SwimmingMany adults decide that they would like swimming lessons. For some it is all about learning to swim in a quiet, calm environment. For others it is about learning new strokes, improving confidence or simply coming along to a regular swimming group to enjoy the exercise. Whatever, your swimming requirements, Swim Masters can help. All of our adult lessons have a maximum group size of 4 swimmers (unless otherwise stated). Many swimmers tell us that they prefer to swim in a calm, relaxed environment. We are also often told by adult learners that they would prefer to learn in an all-female or all-male learning environment. We have therefore organised our lessons accordingly. The teachers in our adult lessons are all experienced senior teachers. We always have female staff teaching the Ladies sessions and male staff teaching the Mens sessions. To book your free taster, simply contact us to make a booking. Ladies/Mens Learn to SwimThe teacher is in the water with the adults to aid confidence and help demonstrate the techniques being learnt. Lessons are structured, but are designed to meet the specific learning requirements of the swimmers in the group. Each session lasts for 30 minutes. Ladies/Mens Fitness SwimThese sessions offer the opportunity for a calm, relaxed swiming environment. There is a senior teacher on the pooolside to offer advice and help when required, however, this is an unstructured session where swimmers are free to swim at their own pace. Lessons are booked in half-term batches based around school terms and holidays. A free taster lesson is available if you would like to come along and see if you like the sessions. Please see our adult lesson timetable below which also outlines current availability. Each session lasts for 30 minutes. 1-2-1 Coaching sessionsThese coaching sessions are aimed at those who can already swim confidently, but who would like a single session to brush up on technique or to get training tips and advice. This type of session is best suited to swimmers who wish to solve a stroke problem or resolve issues such as turns, breathing, etc. The sessions are organised on a 1-2-1 basis with a senior teacher in the water. Each session can be booked for 30 minutes or 1 hour. Timetable
