Badges and Awards
All of our swimmers follow badge schemes which reward water skills, distance swimming and stroke technique. Badges are completed as an integrated part of our teaching program and are assessed on a continuous basis (rather than one isolated 'badge week'). This allows more steady progress and avoids the pressure to perform on a given day.
We award all children free badges at intervals during the year as they complete our series of classes. All certificates are laminated and together with a material costume badge, are included at no extra cost.
