Swimming Teacher's Certificate (Beginners)
This is the new style course which involves a two day course to complete the Level 1 Assistant Teacher Certificate. Upon completion of the Level 1 element, candidates then have 18 months in which to complete their portfolio and work experience requirements to receive their Level 2 Teacher's Certificate. | Aim: |
Holders of the STC(B) can teach up to 10 beginners. They may also act as an assistant teacher and may teach larger classes or advanced skills under direct supervision of a suitably qualified swimming teacher. |
